Original Dennis Wolf Comic Book Panels | 1980s

Here we have a rare group of original comic book panel art from the early 1980s, by underground comic artist Dennis Wolf. The artist had a knack for illustrating the weird and whimsical, topping it off with the best illustration of a burnt out hippie on acid. Burn after reading! You have the character of Nosmo King leading the way, with the sidekick Elmo looking like....just check it out. Funky.

The artwork is signed by the artist both in the panels, along with an ink signature on one of the panels. This panel is also dated July, 28, 1981. I believe the artwork was done early in his professional career.

Here's a blog post highlighting some artwork by Dennis Wolf found in the first issue of Overload Magazine.

Here are the sizes of the panels:

- Nosmo King (larger) - 14" x 11"
- Nosmo King (smaller) - 12" x 9"
- 2 Space: 1939 panels: 15" x 11"

Given that the panels are original and were made in the 1980s, you have some signs of age and wear. There is some discoloration and small tears around the edges. You can see the cool edits made to an original comic book panel as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the funky comic book art.

What's this I hear about acid rain? The 60s (and 80s) never die.
