Modernist Bronze Bull Sculpture | 1950s

Here we have a Modernist bronze bull fully ready for your China shop. This beauty is a brute with the mysterious and unusual form. And if you want a solid piece, this one will break the scale. Actually, he'll break through the floor boards with the scale. Check out the pipes on this brute. He has all the presence and intimidation you want to display in your sweet space. Check out the dichotomy between his hard edge lines and the simple round circles for his eyes. It reminds me of Jaws. Good luck with this Running of the Bulls.

The bronze sculpture came out of a large Twin Cities collection of exotic art pieces. It was likely made in the 1950s or 60s. I can't find a signature anywhere.

The Modernist sculpture measures 7 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide, and about 13" long. He weighs around 8-9 pounds. There is perfect patina on the bronze throughout the piece. Along the left shoulder and arm there are several cool parallel line grooves. The wear is where it's at. If you disagree, this brute isn't the one for you. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

He's mean, but he'll win over your black tie affair. He'll blaze the path, destroy it, then blaze another one. Killer piece.
