Antique Streetcar Station Photograph from Minneapolis Circa 1921

Here we have a large rare photograph from the infamous Lake Street Station, circa 1921. The station was a main stop for the streetcar system in Minneapolis back in the day. And apparently they had a million conductors working there.

But that's not the best part. Step back and look at the overall landscape of the photgraph. Every pic of the conductors is strategically placed to create an image of a streetcar. Those clever Scandinavians strike again! Nifty job Sven. I have to admit, with the black and white photographs, black background, and faded black frame, this thing is smokin'. Bring on the lutefisk! She deserves in the spot at the table of Streetcar history in America.

Here's a cool link of historical pics from Lake St, including the Lake St. Station. The authentic photograph was found in an estate in Southern Minnesota.

The framed occupational photograph measures 25" wide and 20 1/2" tall. The photo and/or glass shows it's age, with dust and specks everywhere. The frame has a great patina as well. The backing is definitely original, and is a little loose. It might be good to replace the backing. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the photograph. If located in the Twin Cities area, I can deliver the piece.

Lake Street Station was all business. Good luck finding a smile of any of these fellas. You'll find some sweet mustaches though (step aside hipsters). Don't miss out on this rare and cool piece of Twin Cities history.
