Antique Skeleton Lithograph Poster | Rare 19th Century Medical Chart
Here we have a rare lithograph poster of a skeleton and all the labeled parts and pieces. Just standing there, waiting for the bus, not even paying attention to you and all your friends staring at his skull and bones...(ahem). The large anatomy chart was made in the late 1800s, and still bleeds muted colors and power. It hits you. I love all the numbers, especially the small red ones. There's a lot of info flying around on this singular piece. But you, it's about the look. Imagine this framed with some industrial half lights pushing the image even more. Bongo.
The rare skeleton lithograph measures 33" tall by 23 1/2" wide. There is patina from age throughout the poster, including slight discoloration along the edges and creases. The bottom right corner has a small piece missing. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
