Here we have an antique nickel crucifix with a skull and crossbones over ebony wood inlay. Color combo is a stunner. The detail and patina packs in the the power you need, especially the rusty INRI. Then you have haunting skull and crossbones waiting in the depths.
The antique nickel crucifix comes out of an old estate in Iowa. There were plenty to choose from. The silver one glowed like a burning coal. Watch your fingers.
I believe the crucifix is from the early 1900s, but it might be earlier. The crucifix doesn't magnetize, with the exception of the INRI sign and the skull and crossbones.
The antique crucifix measures just over 4 1/2" x 2 1/4". There is patina throughout, including rust on the INRI and discoloration along the nickel. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on the crucifix.
The religious relic has been clutched many times. You can just tell.
