Antique Hubbell Gooseneck Lamp with Rare Metal Base | 1920s
Here we have an antique industrial Hubbell machinist lamp with a rare green metal base. Frankly, this is the best Hubbell lamp I've had the honor of owning. The pictures don't do it justice. The rare light is a classy beast, with the look and functionality that'll get the neighbors talking. The gooseneck on this bad boy can extend horizontally and look around the corner, all because of the monster base. I've looked high and low and I can't find this base anywhere. You know how you can tell quality as soon as you see it in person and get your hands on it? Yeah, that's a thing with this bad boy. As for the head of this fella, you have the "Hubbell" markings on the socked and the base of the shade.
The rare Hubbell light came out of a machinist shop in western Wisconsin. The patina is absolutely perfect. Solid, solid, solid.
The cool table light stands about 21" at regular position. Fully extended up, it stands just under 29". The diameter is 5" and stands just under 4". The lamp works fine. The wiring is original to how I found the piece. There is green felt cloth on the bottom. As stated above, there is patina everywhere. There are a few spots on the base where the black metal is showing through the green. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only. Free shipping on the rare industrial lamp.
I can't get over that base. It rumbles and gets the attention of the authorities.
