Antique Crucifix with Skull and Crossbones and Gray Inlay Wood

Here we have an old inlay wood crucifix with skull and crossbones. This little relic has it all: crazy patina, rustic inlay, primitive, yet ominous skull and crossbones...this would keep some spirits away.

I think the crucifix was made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It comes out of a collection of old priest and nun crucifixes, most of which have the skull and crossbones. I'll be posting the others along the way.

The cross measures 8" tall, 3 3/4" wide, and about 1" deep from Christ's chest to the back of the wood. There's patina galore with this piece. General wear and paint losses throughout the piece. The INRI decal is missing a portion. The decals can turn a little. The Christ figure slightly moves if you move the crucifix, but the relic isn't going anywhere.

I tested the crucifix with a magnet. The decals and the Christ figure did not magnetize, but the nails did. I think it's silver painted brass but I'm not 100% on it.

Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on this amazing piece.

You don't mess with the power of these relics. You just hang it on the wall, respect and honor. Others will fall in line. You can't walk by the item without stopping. Don't miss out.
