Here we have a wood carved Black Forest inkwell of an old boot. Flip up the top, and you have a glass vial ready for some old ink. For all you obsessed with vintage boots, this is one to add to your collection. Check out the intricate carving on the top. If anyone ever saluted an inkwell, it was this one. It will stomp out everything that's lame.

The hand carved inkwell was made in the later 1800s. The piece comes out of an old estate in the Twin Cities.

The wood carved shoe measures 5" long, 2" wide, and 3" tall at the heel. There is patina everywhere producing a perfect sheen. The glass vial is a little hazy but solid. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
