1970s Hippie Commune Road Sign from California

Here we have a California relic from the 1970s underground hippie scene. I was told this folk art adapted road sign hung outside of a hippie commune somewhere north of Los Angeles. Someone added "To Peace" below the 50 Km bullseye. But the kicker is these old hippies signed and dated the sign. Here are a few I still see after all these years:

Steve Bill ETS. 16 FEB "73"
ME LLB 16 Feb 73

If you look closely there are a few other signatures but they are very faint. The counter culture sign was found in the Ventura area. Based on the obvious, we're looking at the 1970s.

The vintage metal sign has a diameter of 23". There is patina from age everywhere, including wear and chips to the paint. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the vintage California relic.

Imagine this hanging on your wall or on your film set. Peace is just down the road.
