Here we have an antique Navajo saddle blanket rug from the 1920s with unique corner designs and ranch markings ("EZ"). A true merging of daily use and amazing design. That horse never looked so good along the rugged frontier terrain. The symmetrical corner designs spilt by the intricate center line will give your wall or floor a great look, along with a reference to a rich history. The slices of the "EZ" marking puts if over the edge for me.
I was told the antique saddle blanket was made in the 1920s and came out of storage for a museum in the Southwest. My research hasn't produced any info yet on the ranch markings on the rug. I'm open to any suggestions.
The Navajo double saddle blanket rug measures 50" long and 33 1/2" wide. As stated above, the blanket is in very used condition. There is fraying along the edges of the blanket. There are also several areas of loose weaving and gap through the center of the Navajo rug. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I think it's safe to say they built these beauties to last. 100 years later and she's still intact with all the scars. Great piece to add to the collection.
