1920s Deco Painting of Stylized Flapper Woman Gazing
Here we have a small yet stunning Deco painting of a Flapper Girl peering into the distance, and she's not impressed. That gaze, that orange hair, and that total lack of interest. The checkerboard background illuminates her like an explosion in the middle of the night. She's a beauty that keeps on giving. Hopefully a smile comes along at some point.
The 1920s Deco painting comes out of an old estate in Rochester MN and is signed "Wickland" in the lower left corner. The artist is unknown so we're dealing with a mystery artist. But they have an edgy signature.
The rare Deco painting measures 8" wide by 10" tall. There is patina throughout the surface of the painting. I'm a fan of the patina but it's patina nonetheless. There is a horizontal crease towards the top of the painting. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the antique painting on card board.
She's an old beauty from every angle. Check it out again.
