This one is epic. It's a Brutalist metal sculpture of a surreal scene. Let's start with the figures crawling around the structure, trying to escape. One of them wasn't so lucky...there's a body hanging from the hole in the top level. And then there's the giant creepy hand coming out of the hole on the first level. The whole thing reminds me of an M.C. Escher scene, except more creepy and traumatic. So wicked. This the underground Modern Art that stops me in my tracks.

The authentic brutalist artwork is signed on the base. It says "Richard W...." At first I thought it was Richard W. Allgaier. I'm not so sure now. The last name could be "Walker." Above the name it faintly reads "30th St." and then "76."

The vintage art sculpture is sight to see. It stands 23.5" tall, and about 9.5" wide at its widest spot. The diameter of the base is about 5". Hard to believe but it's some solid weight to it.

This one is a show stopper. And a show all by itself. Look at the pics again.
