Here we have a rare Peace and Love black velvet poster with a hand giving the "Peace" sign, straight our of the Vietnam era 60s. i can't get past how good the hand is, with silver nail polish shining strong. You have to love the DIY spirit of whomever created this beauty. Making a statement and taking it to the streets. These artifacts need to be brought into the light again and featured on your wall. The 60s are alive and well.
The hand painted counter culture artwork came out of a storage unit for an old head shop in Duluth, Minnesota. I was told it was produced in the fever of the late 60s.
The black velvet poster measures 20" wide and 15" tall. The poster is stapled to the original paper backing along the edges. The velvet has gathered some dust in storage. I'll let you clean it however you see fit. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
