Regular priceSale price
Here we have a super rare lithograph poster from the 1922 Minnesota State Fair, featuring a War Exposition. Almost 100 years old, and the red, whites, blues and gold are popping off the print. You can never deny the lasting impact of a lithograph pressing. It delivers decade after decade.
The Hart-Kaiser Studio is marked in the bottom left of the top image.
In the bottom left it states the following:
C-22 C for Co-operative Publicity Bureau, St. Paul, Minn.
In the bottom right it states the following:
Latham Litho & Ptg. Co, Brooklyn N.Y.
The rare military poster comes out of the Cannon Falls Military History Museum in Minnesota. I've looked everywhere and I can't find another one.
The poster measures about 27" tall by 21" wide. There is evidence of age and use throughout. In the upper left corner there is a couple creases. Along the edges there are several 1/2-1" tears. Along the right edge there is a loss (see pic). On the reverse you see a small piece of tape addressing a tear. None of it can take away the power of the poster. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). The poster will be shipped flat in a large flat poster box. If you live in the Twin Cities area, I can deliver the poster.
Colors popping like popcorn. A great, rare piece of Minnesota history.
