Here we have a historic real photo postcard (RPPC) of Madame Uno, who was a palmist, hand, and tarot card reader. If you’re looking for authenticity from the old days, I think Madame Uno hits on every level, including what’s likely an advertising blurb in her own hand, especially when you see that the reverse is unused. It’s possible she was a part of a traveling carnival. Either way, she commanded the room.
The rare postcard was produced in the early 1900s, and dated 7/12/15. It comes out of an Iowan photography collector’s estate of old, weird examples from America’s underground.
The old Palmistry postcard measures 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall. There is slight patina from age throughout. The reverse is unused. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
