1950s Nude Painting of African American Woman | Chicago Estate
Regular priceSale price
Here we have a stunning nude portrait painting of an African American woman from the 1950s. The gaze on this beautiful woman is all the rage, and then some. The muted tone still bleeds through power from every angle. There is a power in the execution and pose of the portrait painting. Even the way she's folding her arms makes a statement. An unreal focal point in anyone's collection.
The vintage 1950s painting comes out of a Chicago art collector's estate. The painting is illegibly signed in the lower right corner. On the reverse it states "Norton." This may be the last name of the artist. Currently we're dealing with a mystery artist.
The framed nude oil on board measures 25" x 19". There is slight surface patina throughout the artwork. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on the nude artwork.
It's easy to set your eyes on this beauty. What a study.
