Here we have a vintage industrial era desk lamp from the Faries Mfg. Co. Lamp from 1910-1920s. I know you've heard me say it before, but if you're looking for a pristine piano light, just turn the car around right now and hit the gas. This lamp is mean. He slugged it out with the best of them, and always got back up, ready for the next one. He's a contortionist that'll light your way and scare off the faint of heart.
Check out that neck...but don't look too long. It's rude to stare.
The arm measures 12" from joint to joint, adjustable to numerous positions. At natural standing position, it stands around 16" tall. The base has a diameter of 5". The base has all the wear a machinist or biker would want. The wiring is modern. Switching it out with a period cloth wire is an option. I’ll leave it up to you. As stated above, the patina is killer on this lamp. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the wicked industrial light.
This is the table lamp that brings a flask to the opera. Hear those squealing tires? Yeah, you know who it is.
