Here we have a very rare copy of the underground counter culture newspaper, New Times, with the byline quote from John F Kennedy: "If we make peaceful revolution impossible, we make violent revolution inevitable." And man, you haven't anything until you've seen a family photo of a revolutionary family in the early 1970s. The subtlety left the party a while ago. And then you dive into the material with raging articles, ads, and even underground comics along the bottom of each page. But I've saved the best for last....a centerfold article featuring the legendary MC5. Kick out the jams!
The rare 1970s zine comes out of an estate in the Duluth Minnesota area who lived the revolutionary life. This artifact was there for it all.
The underground revolutionary zine measures 14" tall x 10" with a total of 28 pages. There is evidence of use throughout the periodical. The bottom right corner of the cover is experiencing losses. There is some occasional discoloration spots as well. With the last inner page, someone tore out half the page (see pic). But nothing that takes away from the power of the periodical. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare hippie magazine.
