Here we have a rare brass bottle opener of a nude woman from the Deco period. She used to be full on nude, then someone hand painted a black bikini on her, and now with the patina, she's nude again......(ahem). What a naked history! The Deco bottle opener is one of the rarest nude molds of the period. Not only do you have a bottle opener, but you have a great little sculpture while she's not in use. A perfect addition to your vintage Breweriana collection.
The rare piece is likely brass, but may be bronze. Magnets don't adhere to the opener. There is a copyright hallmark on the bottom.
The figure measures 4-1/4" high. The diameter of the base is 1 1/4." There is patina throughout. The paint is worn, as mentioned above...(ahem). There is oxidization near her hip. A very solid piece. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
