Here we have a rare 1950s criminal trial court ledger full of ten years worth of handwritten crimes. This one is a beauty, complete with old heavy ink and a colorful history of hijinks and mayhem. And it is a heavy beast. The old Chicago courts definitely made their ledgers bullet proof. I have to give "Con Game" the spotlight. It shows up numerous times in the ledger. Chicago was apparently full blown in the 1950s. Con Game! The official typed letter is a nice little bonus.

The Chicago criminal trial ledgers comes out of a Chicago estate of an old antique dealer. The handwritten entries span 10 years through the 1950s.

The rare criminal court ledger measures 11" x 14" and about 5" deep. The book has some good weight to it. Each letter tab section has about a few pages of full entries and the rest of the pages are blank. The covers have some wear to them. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes please).  Free shipping on this rare piece of Chicago history.

A lot of crazy history in this book, and a lot of people going in front the judge. A killer piece.
