Vintage Devil Drawing of Metaphysical Battle | 1981
Here we have an original illustration drawing of the devil taking on an even bigger metaphysical force. There's a fight brewin', get ready for a throw-down rumble in the Bronx. It's not your everyday scene when Satan himself is looking up at an a** beating. Great angle of the shot, along with the killer shading of the graphite. Throw down the stake for Round 1.
The vintage underground illustration was created in 1981. The piece is dated and signed Anderson in the bottom right corner. In the bottom left, it's marked 1/1. The artist is still a mystery to me. Open to any ideas. The rare artwork comes out of a Twin Cities estate full of vintage illustration art from the 1970s and 1980s.
The framed illustration measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The complete piece is in solid shape. There are a few waves in the drawing within the frame. There is some discoloration along the edges of the drawing. This may be adhesive marks (please see pics). The artwork has not been viewed out of the frame.
