Here we have a wild antique folk art walking stick with an engraved metal stem and a menacing wood carving of a face on the handle. . The feeling you get when you grip this beauty is something to behold. It's intense. Then you have the engraved name or company "Valehaus" on the stem. I love the reducing metal neck of the wood face. So bad it's good.

Some of these old meta canes were made by prisoners. Not sure if this is the case with this one, but it sure would help you in the clink. This late 1800s accessory will get you out of a jam if you accidentally zig when you should've zagged. The old chap who owned this wanted the grip to end all grips and send a message that they valued their safety. This beauty has all the brutal patina to win your case, and the weight to clear the room.

I was told the walking stick was made between the Civil War period and the 1890s. The rare walking stick came out of a collector's estate in Sante Fe.

The antique cane measures about 34 1/2" tall and the handle length measures about 5". As stated before, there is patina throughout. The wood handle housed in the metal neck does shift back and forth a bit. I personally like the movement. It feels cool in the grip. The end of the stem has a slight bend (see pic).  Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the jailbreak cane.

I'd let the cat who's carrying this gem to pass through without incident.
