Here we have a rare French engraving entitled "L'eleve Desinaleur" based on a 1726 painting by Carlo Vanloo. The antique art print was executed by Angelique Bergen and printed in 1764. This European print rarely comes up anywhere.
The early engraving and matting measures about 14" x 10.5". The art image measures 10.25" X 7.75". The matting is experiencing significant foxing throughout, on both sides. The art piece is mounted on a backing board. The adhesive between the front matting and backing board is partially detached. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
