Here we have a rare modern abstract etching by listed Hawaiian artist Jeffrey B. Dunn. The artist proof signed artwork was likely created in the 1970s. Talk about lines, cuts, dichotomy and a start of a long conversation. This highly crafted work is it, and it will get them talking. Great artwork pushes and pulls, giving your mind to exercise and come to a conclusion. One of the reasons this piece will do it is because of the craft. The artwork contains hard edges of the printing plate contrasting with the soft dark gray, black, and red tones.

The framed artwork measures 15 1/2" tall and 18 1/2" wide. The exposed artwork measures 9" tall and 12" wide. The framing and backing look original tom me. There is cool patina throughout the frame. There appears to be some fog patina on the inside of the glass. I'll leave it up to you to decide if you want to take apart the framing and clean or replace the glass.
