Here we have an haunting charcoal drawing of a pair of hands reaching from the dirt to the heavens. You will really have to make an effort to ignore this hanging on the wall. Wicked execution and tone on this one. The light and darkness doing a back to back to back triple shift. The absence of a form beyond the hands puts this one over the top for me. It puts a whole new meaning to the idea of expressing yourself with your hands.

The drawing was found in the Twin Cities area. As for age, it's really a guess. It feels like something from the 60s or 70s but it could easily be later. The piece is illegibly signed in the lower right corner. The artist is a mystery to me. I know they have power, just not sure on name.

The framed artwork measures 12" tall by 11" wide. The piece is very solid. To the left of the left hand there may be some discoloration (see pic). Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
