Antique Folk Art Gothic Wood Candleholders | Set of 2

Here we have a stunning set of two folk art candleholders carved in the influence of English Gothic style through the vision of a tramp artist. Now that is one heck of a mix, and the these drinks stand very tall. Almost 20 inches of folk art sky scraping goodness, and it starts with three levels of tramp art notch carvings. And both sky scrapers are tattooed in an unusual design.

The unusual set of Gothic cardholders comes out of a Midwest folk art collection, likely from the Chicago area. I was told it was likely made in the very early 1900s, possibly earlier.

The rare antique folk art candlestick holders measure 19" tall, 6" wide and 6" deep . There is perfect patina from age throughout. It's a solid set and it's very tactile. One of the bulbs experiences more charring from the flame than the other. They're a couple very small losses (see pic). Depending on the surface, the base may not sit completely flush with the surface. There is old wax still in the cups. I'l le you clean as you see fit.
