Here we have a 1920s Art Deco portrait painting of a nude woman with a catastrophic backstory. Maybe you noticed the crazy vibe of this antique relic. Well, this gorgeous painting is a fire survivor. It sustained plenty of smoke damage while it was stored in the basement of a Minneapolis home when the house went up in flames. Now, this little Phoenix rose to a different, funky level. It just has an edge now that nature got ahold of the artwork. I don't get it, but I want it. It's like she's blazing through the fog. It's a powerful piece of Found Art.
As stated above, the 1920s painting came out of the family estate in Minneapolis. There is no evidence of a signature so we're dealing with a mystery artist, But they were amazing.
The unframed Art Deco painting measures just over 30" tall and 26" wide. There is wear throughout because of the circumstances. The painting is sold AS IS. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

She sets the tone and directs the show. Pictures do not do her justice. She blazes.
