WWII Trench Art Vase with Unique Handles | Folk Art
Regular priceSale price
Here we have aWorld War 2 trench art shell with unusual broad handles. Design, design, design. This beauty has all the brute, brawn, weight, and patina to a hush over the crowd. Just speaking in tactile terms, this is one of my favorite pieces of trench art. The overbuilt way the unusual handles attach to the WW2 shell is all aces. It reminds me of an Arts and Crafts design, but this bad boy comes from the trenches. I love this militaria relic. Straight up.
The WW2 artifact comes out of an old collector's estate in Wisconsin. The piece is not marked so we have a mystery artist on our hands.
The antique military artwork stands around 11 1/2" tall, and the diameter measures about 3". The handles measures about 7" wide. There is patina from age throughout. Please see all pics as they are part of description.
I ship to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the WW1 artifact.
Art can survive anything. This beauty is all the proof you need. It stands like a trophy of design.
