Here we have an antique racing photograph from the early 1900s, complete with a backdrop of a mechanics shop. You know these blokes were wrenching on this beauty before, during, and after posing for this photograph. You can just smell the gasoline. Love the hand painted signs in the background. Back to the car, can you imagine flying on a dirt track in this beast? It’s the experience I need. And this is the visual that amps it up.
The antique photo came out of an old photograph collector’s estate in Chicago area. I believe the photograph was taken someone in the 1910s or early 1920s. I see no markings so we’re dealing with mystery photography.
The antique picture measures 13 2/4" wide x 12" tall. There is light patina throughout the entire photograph. The matting is separating from the backing slightly. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
