Here we have a historical horse advertising photograph from rural America at the turn of the century. Look at those beasts! Little did they know they were selling fancy wares for the rest of the flock. I love the heavy material hanging over the horses. They’re ready to sell. Let’s see the cash!
The advertising states the following:
For
Shoes and Harness
Go to
O,.C. Haug
The [illegible]
Deering, North Dakota
You can find old O.C. Haug mentioned on the Deering historical website, found here:

This rare horse advertising photograph came of a serious agricultural antique collector near Fargo, North Dakota. The photograph was likely produced in the early 1900s.
The unframed and matted photograph measures about 9" wide and 7" tall. The photograph has some patina from age but it doesn't take away from the image. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes please). Free shipping on this amazing piece of early horse advertising history.
