Antique Jewelers Anvil and Hammer Set | Early 1900s
Here have a really cool antique set containing a jeweler's anvil and hammer, ready for all your molding needs. These bruisers just makes me want to change careers. I love the miniature scope of the occupational relics. But don't let that fool you. They lasted over 100s years doing all the hard work. And they're still cracking away. For all you hand crafters out there, don't look past these goodies.
The antique jewelers tools comes out of an old estates in the Twin Cities. I believe the set was created in the early 1900s. I can't find any maker's marks anywhere.
The hammer measures 8" long and the diameter of the anvil base is about 3". There is great patina from use throughout both pieces. The end of the hammer handle has some small losses. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the antique jeweler's tool set.
Why do I get such a kick out of this set? Probably the same reason as you. They are wicked!
