Here we have a stunning pair of J. Wiss & Sons Tailor Scissors from the turn of the century. As this country turned the corner into the 1900s, the quality of manufacturing was second to none. And J Wiss & Sons were adamant about their quality. You can literally feel the history in the glorious moving metal. And those muted, gold rivets, on both sides. When you hold the scissors in your hand, you know you're going to be creating something amazing. Collector or seamstress, you're gonna be stoked.

The scissors came out of an old estate in Cedar Rapids and were originally manufactured in Newark, New Jersey between 1899-1902.

The rare antique tailor scissors measures 12" long. The scissors have been well-maintained well over 100 years. As stated before, there is perfect patina everywhere, Only the decades can create something this powerful.
