Here we have an amazing set of rare photographs with a link to a 19th century photographer’s studio in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Not only do have an uber rare photograph of the interior of the gallery, we also have a cabinet card of one of the photographs on the wall. Not sure I’ve ever seen a potent combo like this. It’s fascinating to see what the studio looks like in the late 1800s. There're so many amazing historical tidbits that I'm certifiably overwhelmed...and I welcome that avalanche.
The original interior photograph and cabinet card come out of an old photograph collector’s estate in Michigan. The photographs come from the late 1800s.
The rare 19th century interior photograph and cabinet card measure about 6 1/2” by 4” each .Both photographs are experiencing surface wear, especially the backing. There are some losses to the edges. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
