Here we have a rare 1920s postcard of the vaudeville act named “Singer’s Royal Midget Jazz Band.” What a crew! You can tell they set the house on fire when they kicked into it. You just know it. On that note, let’s dive in.

Here’s more about the vaudeville group:

Singer's Royal Midget Jazz Band was a popular vaudeville act in the first half of the 20th century. The band was led by Leo Singer, an Austrian-born American who also managed an entertainment troupe called Singer's Midgets. The band was made up of little people, and they were known for their energetic performances and their unique sound.

The band was founded in the early 1900s, and they quickly became a popular attraction on the vaudeville circuit. They toured the United States and Europe, and they even appeared in a few films. The band's popularity peaked in the 1930s, but they continued to perform until the mid-1940s.

The rare RPPC comes out a collector’s estate in the Twin Cities. Based on the markings, I believe the postcard was produced in the 1920s.

The vaudeville postcard mesures 5 1/2 by 3 1/2. There is slight patina from age. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the postcard.
