Here we have a panoramic photograph of a gang of barefoot kids posing on Main Street and dressed to the 9’s. The Little Rascals can eat their hearts out. What a scene. This is a perfect glimpse of late 19th Century American life with the coolest tone. Check out the man watching from one side, and another kid way of the right putting out some attitude. What a slice of life.
The sign in the background reads:
J.E. Hunt & Co.
Cheap Cash Store
Dry Goods
This rare panoramic photograph came out of a collector’s estate in Iowa. The 19th century panoramic photo is dated 1984. The matting is stamped illegibly but the maker is from Elkhart, Indiana.
The unframed piece measures about 11" wide and 7" tall. The photograph has some slight patina from age but it doesn't take away from the image. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes please). Free shipping on this amazing piece of Americana.
This one is pure and American. What a scene frozen in time. Unreal!
