Here we have a vintage shaving stand with an articulating bevelled mirror. Complete with a stand for your safety razor and a ring for your shaving cup, you'll be struttin' your stuff in no time.
I listed the antique shaving mirror as from the 1930s but it might be earlier. The station comes from an Iowa truck driver who picked up antiques across America for decades. He accumulated a lot of pieces from old barber shops, so this may be an old barber station.
The base is possibly plastic or bakelite, and I'm unsure about the silver casings. They aren't magnetic. You can adjust the level of the base by turning the silver knobs on the bottom.
The vintage mirror stands about 15 1/2" high. The base is about 13" wide and 6" deep. There is light patina throughout the piece. The back adjuster is tilted at a horizontal angle. I can't tell is the piece is bent or if it's meant to angle. The adjuster tightens and loosens fine. The bevelled mirror is experiencing some surface wear. The mirror still does the job since I'm still able to clearly see all the cuts after I'm done shaving. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship the continental USA only. Free shipping on the barber memorabilia piece.
You deserve a first class shave every time. No more sandpaper for you. Don't miss out.
