Here we have a vintage Saks Fifth Avenue fedora hat. This felt gray beauty has a wide brim and whole lotta attitude. The hat measures 22 3/4", so I believe that puts it in the size 7 1/4 arena. About the brim...it rocks. It measures 2 1/2", so make room for this one. No short brims need to apply. This one is worn by the boss, not the minions.
The hat was found in rural Minnesota. In case you're wondering, there are no Saks Fifth Avenue stores in rural Minnesota....the mystery continues.
The hat measures about 13" from front to back, and about 11 1/2 to 12" wide. The hat stands about 5 1/2 to 6" tall. This one was used, and shows evidence of such. There is some discoloration, especially along the lined brim. The inside is solid but worn. There are a few discoloration areas on the inside as well.
