Huge Industrial Photography Light with Vented Shade from 1960s

Regular price $115.00

Here we have the mother of all industrial photography lights. It's vintage, it's huge, it's jet black and it only answers to the name "Frankenstein." This homegrown bad boy must've came out Mad Max's photo studio. You even have a welded heat vent on the thing. I'm guessing it's from the 60s but it may be earlier.

The photography light went 10 rounds, took the roundhouses, and didn't stumble an inch. The patina is wicked. You're sure to terrify anyone or anything you're going to light. But they'll love it like a rollercoaster.

I'm pretty sure the light is made of aluminum. It doesn't magnetize. It's not terribly heavy so you can totally move around an pull a "Rattle and Hum" moment with your subject. Perfect for photoshoots, parties, and parties at photoshoots.

The vintage light stands about 21", shade down, from the edge of the shade to the start of the cord. The diameter of the shade is 12". The light does work. The significant portion of the old heavy duty cord is wrapped in black electrical tape. You probably should get a new wire but I'll let you do your own inspection and act accordingly. The shade detaches from the vent and socket structure via three screws (see pics). There is some staining on the interior of the shade. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. The light will be shipped with the two pieces detached for a better fit in the packaging. Free shipping on the light.

People will want it, and you won't let them have it. The rap sheet is long with this one, and worth every inch.
