Here we have an interesting vintage art pottery jar surrounded by hand painted scorpions. Outstanding! The ceramic vessel is marked with a maker's symbol and dated 1974. The artist is a mystery to me. I definitely liked their style, color scheme, and scorpions.
The art pottery stands just under 8" to the top of the lid. 6.5" to the jar lid. It has a diameter of just under 5". The top of the lid and lip of the jar both have small chips. There are some very small chips along the exterior. Near the lip of the jar there is discoloration from the firing process. The dark exterior and white panels have acquired grime over the years. I'll leave it up to the buyer to clean. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
