1970s Billiards Rack and Ball Box from Wisconsin Bar
Regular priceSale price
Here we have a vintage handmade billiards box stating "Bar's Balls", and housing a wood triangle, billiard balls, and cue chalk from an old bar in Wisconsin. The box makes it very clear to the patrons back in the day who owns it and what's in it. If this bruising gem could talk, you will have some wild tales on your hands. Grand tales of drunken battles on the pool table, and likely some over it. The bar life is the wild life, and I'm confident, given the inscription, this place had some hard bark on it.
The vintage billiards box has been in storage for decades. I was told the box came out of a old rural bar in western Wisconsin. It was likely built in the 60s or 70s.
The wood billiards box measures 14 1/2" tall, 15 1/2" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. There is cool bar patina everywhere. The latch swivel fine. The box was minus a lock. The billiard balls were definitely used, and were likely made in the 70s. The white cue ball is pretty beat up, which I love. And as you can imagine, the old plastic container for the cue chalk came with the box. Everything you see is part of the purchase. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the crazy vintage billiards box.
