Vintage Schott Perfecto Cafe Racer Jacket 1970s | Mad Max 42

Here we have a distressed Schott Perfecto cafe racer leather jacket from the 1970s. The distressed meter is going off the charts with this one. It's bad to the bone and the evidence of road time covers it from head to toe. Complete with the Mad Max seal of approval.

First things first, I'm not pleased this one doesn't fit me. You wouldn't be seeing it in the shop if it did. My loss is your gain. The tag shows a size 42. The jacket came from an estate of an old rider in rural Minnesota. I'm pretty sure he modeled his style off Brando in The Wild Ones, including the cigarettes. You might want give her a clean....or leave it full on smokey Brando.

The Schott tag on this one is gone. However, the design, Talon zipper, and chest pocket pull chain match other examples of Schott Perfecto cafe racers from the 70s. The inside seam tag is marked "R. Sherman Leather Cleaners Inc." Here are the actual measurements:

Pit to pit: 21"
Top collar seam to bottom hem in front: 26 1/2"
Bottom collar (neck) seam to bottom hem in front: 23"
Shoulder seam to bottom hem in front: 24"
Sleeve from shoulder seam to hem: 23"
Shoulders in back: 18"
Neck to bottom hem in back: 25"

Obviously, this vintage cafe racer jacket has the wear everywhere. One of the cuff zippers was replaced at some point. One is a Talon, and the other is YKK. The main zipper works fine. The inside lining of the sleeves are a bit tattered (see pics). There is spot in the bottom right front area where a patch used to reside (see pic). A few spots along the edge of the inside lining are frayed and separating. The collar leather is very frayed and looks phenomenal. Please see all pics as they are part of the description. Feel free to request more pics.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping for the jacket.

This one hurts me and helps you. Authentic and distressed motorcycle leather like this doesn't grow on trees. If it could talk, it'd say volumes of underground truth. So wicked.
