1960s Folk Art Vintage Clothing Sign from Hippie Store | 36" x 7"

Here we have a rare folk art "Vintage Clothing" merchant sign made in the 1960s by a true hippie selling the old threads from back in the day....from back in the day. Vintage clothing is all the rage but this trailblazing hippie in Pennsylvania was one of the true originals. Check out the hand painted button up top and purse bookending the wicked cool font. Imagine the small modest shop on the outskirts of Pennsylvania, and the vibrant spirit running the joint. So good!
The unusual wood sign comes out of an old folk art collection in the New England area. I was told it was likely from the 1960s. They also mentioned the wood piece is some sort of an old stretcher.
The cool Vintage Clothing sign measures 36" wide by 7" tall. As stated above, there is patina everywhere. It's why I bought it, honestly. There is a small puncture in the wood towards the right middle (see pic). Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the wicked folk art sign.
A rare 1960s hippie sign selling items right up your street. Never seen another one.
