Here we have a rare gem of a blue enamel and embossed street sign from the 1920s. "Upper Road." You take the high road, and I take the low road. You have the upper hand. The dark blue background with white lettering is a classic color combination often seen in older enamel signs. Love the font on this classic. Definitely ahead of its time.
The rare enamel street sign came out of an old collector's estate in Chicago. I was told the sign was likely made in the 1920s.
The old enamel sign measures just over 10" wide by 4 1/2" tall. There is slight patina from age throughout the piece. None of it takes away from the power of the visual impact. It's in overall great shape. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare enamel store sign.
Get the upper hand and take the upper road.
