Here we have a Tibetan bone sculpture amulet of a skull or head. All you need a wicked piece of twine and you'll have the coolest and baddest skull hanging around your neck, ready to avert eyes anywhere. I love the dark tones contrasting with the light inner lines and eyeball sockets. It'll haunt you, both in the dark or light. Take a look at the pics again.
The haunting skull amulet comes out of a Twin Cities folk art collector's estate. I'm not sure what type of animal that provided the bone for the sculpture. I'm guessing it comes from the 1950s but it's a complete guess.
The skull amulet measures 2 1/4" tall by 2" wide. There is amazing patina throughout the haunting sculpture. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
