Here we have a vintage Mid-century Modern atomic table lamp with a slick telescoping functionality design, complete with a big eyeball shade staring you down. Did I already mention this little beauty is slick? Imagine the statement being made in the corner of your room, throwing accents everywhere. You can telescope this light everywhere. The vintage telescoping lamp comes out of a Twin Cities estate of a mid-century modern decor collector. The atomic lamp is likely from the 1950s.
The rare articulating lamp measures about 27" tall. The telescoping rod measures 13" long and the shade measures about 5 1/2" diameter. The wood base measures 5" tall, 3 3/4" deep and wide. There is light patina throughout. All the gears, mechanics and wiring works. The original vintage wiring is abnormally long, over 20 feet.
