Antique Brass Letter "A" with Unusual Font | Early 1900s
Here we have an early brass sign letter with a really cool and unusual font. This beauty has a little weight to it, and the meaty backend of the "A" is a sight to behold. I just love looking at this craftsmanship of the sign letter. Then you have the perfect patina from age. Even at a little over 3" x 3", she packs a punch.
The rare antique brass letter comes out of an old estate in northern Minnesota. I'm unsure on the original use, but I know your wheels are turning about the future use.
The antique wall mount letter measures about 3 1/4" x 3 1/4". As stated above, there is perfect patina everywhere. I tested the piece with magnet and received no connection. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
