Here we have a rare antique Gussoff Hat Block covered by the best patina this side of the Mississippi. Even though it lived its life as a hat mold, this antique millinery piece boldly displays any hat you have. It's solid enough to put it back to work as well. You can feel the presence of cruising and bruising with this little gem. No wonder everyone in a felt hat looks like serious business.

The rare hat block is clearly marked with the size, 22. The two puzzle pieces work without issue. The base is marked "Gussoff Hat Co - New York". Based on my research, this millinery tool was created in the late 1800s.

The New York hat block measures 7 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" long, and 6" wide. The base measures 6 1/2" by 5". As stated above there is perfect patina throughout, including a ton of pinholes and general wear from use. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the millinery survivor.

I just love looking at this thing. Display it in your shop with some half-lite? Forget it. 22 rules.
