Vintage Fostoria Task Light from 1940s | Green Industrial Decor
Here we have a killer vintage Fostoria task light with all the bends and angles you need. all in the shadow of a green monster This is a straight up silver monster, like a metal bull in a china shop. Nothing but dust left to settle. You can tell this beauty has scrapped for years. There's a few small remnants of the old green paint. Every year is found in the perfect patina.
The Fostoria task lamp comes out of an old machinist shop in rural Minnesota. I believe the light was made in the 1940s.
The old articulating light stands 33" tall, fully extended. The length of the shade is about 5". Speaking of, the shade has the coolest look because of the boldness of the blazing green. There is perfect patina throughout. One of the ball knuckles looks so funky. It works like a dream though. The cloth wiring and plug are new. The light works like a champ.
