Rare Faries Articulating Table Lamp Wall Mount Fixture | Early 1900s

Here we have a rare Faries articulating lamp with a design I've never seen before. We may be dealing with a rare early Faries design that could be used as both a table lamp or a wall mount. The finely-made example is extremely compact yet flexible, and is an absolute bruiser. I love the unusual square articulating arms, as opposed to the usual circular stem. The base stem swivels every which way, and the twisty knuckles bend all over (see pics). The shade is a hood cover with a screw and bolt tightener. A rare, exquisite example.

The antique Faries lamp came out of an old high end estate in Stillwater, Minnesota . The desk light was likely manufactured in the 1920s.

The rare industrial lamp stands at 17-18" at a natural pose. Fully extended the lamp stands 22" tall. The base is 5" in diameter. The base has all the dents a machinist or biker would want. The shade is a slip on version instead of the usual screw on, and it is a bit warped from some street fights. The light works fine, and the switch works at each interval as it should. However, it has a funky catch motion. This is almost a standard phenomenon with the old Faries light switches (at least with me). The industrial light has been rewired with original style cloth wire. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only. The bulb isn't included. Free shipping on the rare industrial lamp.

I gave up trying to find another example. It is such a cool looking, compact beast.
