Here we have a stunning portrait drawing of woman in fashionable garb. She's easy on the eyes. She's the queen fashionista and she's well aware of it.
I believe the drawing is done in ink but I'm not certain. The piece is signed "B.H." and dated February 11, 1877. The portrait artist is mystery to me. The artwork is done on thick drawing paper. I couldn't find a watermark for the paper.
This 19th century drawing was found in a large lot of engravings and drawings originating from Europe. My guess is this drawing originated from England.
The original artwork measures 11.5" x 8.5". When holding the piece up to the light, you can see evidence of foxing in a few areas of the paper. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
